With sky scrapers, city lights and beautiful gardens, the beauty of Dubai has been enhanced with artificial forests under the flyovers. In an effort to transform Dubai into an open-air art museum, the installations also make the city greener and conscious of global warming.
In the first flagship project following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office, and master developer Nakheel, the bridge leading to the East Crescent on Palm Jumeirah has been uniquely decorated.
The venture aims to support Brand Dubai’s #DubaiSpeakstoYou initiative, which was launched to realise the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to transform Dubai into an open-air art museum. These projects aim to highlight various aspects of Dubai’s rich diversity and pioneering spirit.
A visual and experiential treat in every way, Dubai has pushed past geography and brought a forest into a desert. So now you can fly-over a forest.
